#73: real simple.

60-second centerpieces http://www.realsimple.com/realsimple/gallery/0,21863,97145-3,00.html:

lemon, hazelnut.

pomegranite, plums/figs.

a million carnations.

granny smiths. apparently they float.

only candles.

the pomegranate and plums looks amazing. i will have to try it for a party someday.

the saddest thing about floral centerpieces is that you end up chucking them out or making arrangements for their donation.

one of my hairbrained schemes during planning was to have a centerpiece of tiny little succulents planted in small terracotta pots. that way, anyone who wanted to could take them home. otherwise, i could put them on my deck with the other plants (a win-win situation).

Oh, I have been looking for great centerpieces too and I think I am going to do low planters full of fragrant herbs, then I am going to plant them in my garden after the wedding so I have a nice memory of the day. I though you might like that.
