first up, the texturization of the invitations:
last night's stats:
cards per hour while watching tv -- 2
fingers pricked -- 2
number of times fiance yelled "it's not worth it!" -- 6
second, i tried the skinprep sample yesterday and my face felt effing nice all the live long day long. silky and matte. ladies, we have a contender. oh, and i figured out what the other sample from sephora was. it's a primer from hourglass. i'll be testing it out tomorrow. today, i'm giving the face a rest from makeup. because i want to.
third, there are zero sugar crystals on fiance's experiment. heh.

shine free? doesn't say much about shine on the website, but I'm glad you tried it!
WOW that takes dedication!!! I love your blog. Keep up the good work- you are a regular Martha Stewart.
I think the invitation looks really cool, and I would definitely appreciate the effort and idea if I got in the mail. However, I might have to go with your fiance on this one; it's a lot of work and may not be worth it. I'm not sure how many invites you have, but if it takes an hour or so to complete two, that's probably a ton of time. If you've got the time and the energy, go for it, but don't feel like you need to!
love the texturization!
I've gotta say I'm not too wild about the texture on the invite. I realize that you'd like to add your own personal touch, but even the most expensive and pretty invites eventually will be thrown in the trash. And unless you tell each of your guests that you added the texture, they might think it was just designed like that. I'd save your energy for something else that's important to you.
oh. so. worth. it.
Beautiful! I have an urge to go sew paper for NO good reason now!
beauty for beauty's sake is worth it every time.
loooving the new detail on the invitations!! :)
Really? No sugar?? What is he doing to make it? Same thing as this? http://www.exploratorium.edu/cooking/candy/recipe-rockcandy.html
your invites look AMAZING.
that looks great! such an awesome idea!
I LOVE it!!! If you have the time lady, GO FOR IT! It looks amazing!!!
i think that the invites look great! i know that i have been going nuts to make every little detail as awesome as i can, but sometimes it is better to make it simple. this might be an endeavor that could drive you crazy. if you don't think so, then by all means keep on keeping on
the invitations are superb, dont worry about it.. make it simple, dont over dot it. :)
