Well, how about hug from a complete stranger? ;)

(((hug)))

Friends can really suck sometimes. I hope that it isn't anything too deep or too permanent!

Having a bad day sometimes helps us appreciate the good ones (I suppose that goes for friends as well). Most days you inspire so many of us, its okay to give yourself a break once in a while. Hopefully tomorrow things will seem brighter and more inspired.

Just read your post on felt flowers. Have you see princesslasertron.com ? She has amazing felt flowers mixed with vintage buttons and button flowers. We've (FDIL and I) have fallen in love with them! Now trying to work them into the budget which is close to yours. Thanks for all the great info on your blog!

Oh, man, me too. Can't go into details, but let's just say a friend hasn't exactly been easy to deal with during this whole wedding planning fiasco.

So...cheers to our REAL friends, and cheers to your wonderful blog!

That sucks! Sorry. But you're AWESOME!

Wow! Can I just say that this just happened to me Sunday night? Slap in the face, sympathetic to your situation...

That sucks big time. Hope things work out soon and your day got better.

I had to fire a bridesmaid recently because she was being hateful.

The other day I told a girl to push her future sister-in-law "in front of a bus." In an Alley McBeal kinda way, of course. Today, I say the same to you :) Stay fabulous.

boo to the mean people!

on the bright side you saved yourself postage in not mailing her an invitation ;)

I hope things get better!!

GIRL! What the heck? That is just WRONG and there is no other way to handle it than to throw yourself a little pity party. But tomorrow, you gotta move on and put it behind you. You've got a WEDDING to plan and bigger things to concern your pretty little head with than someone who did you wrong.
Hoping, wishing, praying it works itself out and "I'm-so-sorrys" are about to commence.
You are adored by the masses.

i hope things get better for you. i got engaged in july and almost immediately chose my BMs -- all 7 of them. since then there have been several little catfights among my BMs. for the most part i have been getting along with them (aside from the annoying opinions) but it's the problems between each other that are a little uncomfortable...i'm only hoping everything is resolved before the wedding...

I would say the the fact that the abbreviation for Bridesmaids is the same as bowel movement is a sign ;). Just kidding, but I feel your pain. I had a friend sort of be not such a great friend recently too. Hang in there. I'm learning that some friendships deserve your time and nurturing and some - even if they are long lived - don't. I am so glad that we chose not to have a wedding party (big day is this Friday). It was seriously the best decision we made.

soooo sorry. people in general can suck (*raises hand sheepishly*). but it's worse when they suck and you're involved. i'm in favour of gratutitous bitching to a non-bias party and writing lots of letters that don't actually get sent helps.

i know it won't help right now (if it does, hey, great), but i'm sure a lot of us have been through said drama/trauma, and it will get better and you will grow from it.

that sucks balls! sorry!

I was watching my bout of DVR 'Housewives of the OC' and 'Bad Girl's Club' last night (I know), and It reminded me of why I choose not to have many girlfriends. I like to think that I'm just jaded and most girls aren't crazy... but I'm not so sure.

I found bridesmaid dresses on sale for less than $30 and quickly purchased all 3 dresses in their current sizes. Two of them are furious at me because they want to lose weight before the wedding and think that I have no faith in them by not buying smaller sizes.

WTF? I guess they would rather pay $100 more later when they get to choose their size. *sigh* It happens to all of us.

I had a "best friend" freak out on me 4 weeks before my wedding. And who said at one point, and I quote, "You're the one who's supposed to be always single and I'M the one who's supposed to be getting married!!" I hear this kind of blow-out is completely typical, and let's hope we all end up speaking to our friends again.

It can go both ways...I was the MOH to who I thought was my BFF since childhood. While she planned her wedding, I tried to be as involved and supportive as possible and put up with ALOT of bridezilla crap to honor her day. Months after her wedding she was still a bitch, told me she shouldv'e picked someone else for MOH, said I did not contribute enough financially to her wedding expense and humiliated me in front of friends and my then "new boyfriend" ( now my FI) when she pointed out my flaws in a get-together where she played her wedding video. Needless to say, I cut her out of my life and never looked back! Mean people only get meaner with weddings...wedding planning does not create monsters, those monsters are already there.

Girl! This happened to me last week! She was just awful to the point that she is no longer a "friend". Sometimes, you can get past things, and sometimes people are just poison in your life. Good luck with whatever you decided and in finding your real friends, because you do have them! Suzanne ;-)

P.S. I am a wedding planner and I am really enjoying your blog! Fresh, honest and fun! Keep up the great work! And have fun planning your wedding! Suz ;-)
