#446: dear gentlemen...

via eastsidebride.

thanks for agreeing to stand by mr. tto as he commits to yours truly for the next 100 years of his life. good luck mr. tto.

we will not be going the traditional route of renting tuxes. please don your own black suit, white shirt, and black shoes. we will supply the tie.

if you don't have a black suit, let me know and we'll figure something out.

the soon-to-be-mrs.

We're planning on going w/ suits, too. Probably tan or gray. Men's Wearhouse somtimes has BOGO sales.

We went this exact route. I bought non-matching gold ties on ebay for around $15 each. One of the best wedding decisions I made.

yup, we did this too. the boys got their suits at jcpenny for about $100. i figured it was about the same cost as renting a tux and they got to keep it! then we bought matching ties at kohl's. it worked out great!

We went that route too. Much less hassle than dealing with a rental place. And the men looked just as snazzy.

we went this route. all the guys didn't have black suits (!) so we went to the fashion district and each got them one for around $100. they looked great, and the guys were glad to have black suits to add to their wardrobes.

I love the suits route... I think men look better i suits and its one less rental to worry about/spend money on.

Bravo! Good choice. We asked the guys to wear "dark" suits. 2 wore black, 1 dark grey and 1 dark navy. Honestly, it all looked the same, and no one had to buy/rent anything. I'll send you a pic if you'd like :)

Oh yes, I'm doing this too for our upcoming wedding!

All the guys will be sporting really chic black suits that are their own styles. Ever since my fiance proposed to me with a gorgeous diamond engagement ring from www.idonowidont.com I want our wedding to be chic yet comfortable.

All my bridesmaids will be picking out their own dresses too. My wedding will look like a fashion show!

Ohhh... you've got the ever present spambot right above me. Damn I hate that spambot.

Anyway! Us too! We're buying a freind who doesn't have a black suit his very first one (a much more usefull gift then most wedding party gifts). I think, though, we're going to let them pick there own ties... we were going to buy them, but my Dad said matching ties were "Mickey Mouse" and we were almost 30 ;) So. You know. I figured he might be right. Just because he's older than me...

MY fh was recently in a wedding where it was "please wear a black suit" to which he responded "i don't have one"... I was shocked. Lucky, thanks to my friend's wedding - we were able to rectify that situation... every man should have a black suit, and now my man does!

We did black suits, white shirts and black on black vans. The little boys wore the black and white checkered vans, so cute. And we gave them all different ties in the same shade of blue. Love the way it turned out!

we're doing the same thing! went out on black friday to jcpennys and got 70% off suits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but one thing i did learn... because my dress is ivory, we had to get all ivory/cream shirts for the guys... otherwise their crisp white shirts would make me (the bride) look dirty. and we can't have that!

we also made out like crazy on dress shirts... $13.50 at sears!!!

Note from the self-proclaimed wedding snob: look at H&M first for cheap men's suits & dress shirts. The fit is just better.
