catering? or what have y'all decided for the reception?
Just wanted to start by saying I love your blog but i was peaking around the knot today and a girl found her FI a wedding band on overstock for $55 dollars. Worth a shot.
Shoes?
I read the first item on your to do list as 'boy swear', and I have just spent ten minutes trying to figure out what that meant. Oh dear.
music? dessert?
Just in case you didn't know: http://www.weddingwire.com/shared/WeddingMain
Has an awesome seating chart program, especially if you're a visual person like I am. The whole site actually has some nifty features, we ended up using it for my bff's wedding this summer.
DJ? Cake? Rehearsal Dinner?
We're all anxiously awaiting word on the photog, btw :P
Um, check etsy for wedding bands. We had one custom made for like $40 by an amazing dude called Contraptions. The ring we chose is called "battle scar ring" - I mean, how friggin cool is that?
rehearsal dinner?
Oh and something I waited until the last minute for - accessories?
I rifled through my mom and grandma's jewelery.
What about a rehearsal dinner? Bridal party gifts? Transportation? Music?
ohh I'm jealous. how long do you have left to go?
gahhhh! so exciting!!
Congrats on having so much done! I am just starting and can't wait to be able to check these things off my list.
Have you thought about DIYing the wedding band? Its sounds a little crazy but think about taking a jewelry making class together with your guy and you guys can make it together :)
You must be so excited to have so many things done :)
Wowsers, girl... your done list is extensive! CONGRATS! so proud of you!
Officiant? Marriage license? Cannot get married without these!
Ceremony decorations? Guest book (or some other crafty way for your guests to leave you notes)? Programs?
None of the latter are essential but worth thinking about!
Talk about fabulous progress!
I love reading your blog! I nominated you for the Kreativ Blogger award because I love reading about your wedding(Hope you haven't already won)
See my blog for more details!
is anyone coming from out of town? where are they gonna stay?
Hi, I think I scored the ultimate in wedding band cheapness! My FI seriously did not care about the band and wasn't sure he even wants one. We went with Tungsten rather than gold. It is very durable. If he really loves it, then we will replace/upgrade in a few years. I got it for, get this, $20 (including shipping) on Ebay. Search for tungsten bands and you will find some great deals.
I'm all about doing my own hair and make up too. Just did a post about it!
