#355: a.a.

i got burned when i first showcased the american apparel bandeau dress. but guess what. now they have a (less slutty...) non-pencil version.

am i crazy to think it could totally work as a bm dress? you can wear it 15 ways. yes. 1 dress, convertible 15 ways. here are the 3 ways i think could especially be appropriate.

$43 makes me holler. available in 19 colors and...yes, she'd absolutely be able to wear it again. *wink*

who's with me.

those are definitely acceptable bridesmaid dresses! Better than the pencil version for sure. I dont know how many people could pull that off.

Victoria's secret has a similar type of dress that they are marketing as a bridesmaid dress.

It can be seen here. It's a little more expensive, but more versatile too.

I have the dress from American Apparell. It is my all time favorite dress. I wear it everywhere (i even took it backpacking around south america for 5 months) i've even worn it to weddings. My friend who's in a wedding this fall has the Victoria's Secret dress. They are different in that there materials change the appearance and of course the length. That wedding is in a month - i'll keep you posted!

I have been looking at those dresses for a while as MOH for a friends wedding. None of the BMs have a lot of $$ to spend on a dress. The bride is also very big on buying American made products. These are definitely affordable and can be easily dressed up if needed!

version number 2 is definitely the most fancy! but all three could easily work for a bridesmaid dress... and for that price, they are SOOO lucky!

i just bought this dress in coral at an american apparel outlet in las vegas for $30. i LOVE it. and it is definitely a dress that works with many different body types. the waistline and skirt are very forgiving. if you are buying a bunch of them, call around to outlets to see if you can order them at the lower price.

depends on the type of wedding, but i think it could work as a bm dress. i like that it's so versatile, too.

If I were having bridesmaids I would definitely go with the second one! I am a sucker for anything in chocolate brown.

Much cuter than the pencil version. I love that all the girls can have the same color and can choose how to wear it.

That is a really awesome idea. Unfortunately I think that only works for maids with certain sizes and shapes...if you catch my drift. I am really having a hard time finding something that looks good on both my size 2 girl and my size 18 girl.

I really like the second one!

I have this dress in black and love it (GREAT travel dress because it can also be worn as a skirt) but wanted to warn you that not all of the 15 ways can be worn by everyone... if you have anything above a B-cup I think it eliminates about 6 of the styles. Seriously.

I can confirm the "above a B cup" comment. I have this dress, and really like it, but I'm a C and MOST ways to wear it involve quite a bit of cleavage. It's also VERY casual, what with it being t-shirt material, might seem out of place with your gorgeous dress (reading your blog backwards!).

If you don't mind that your BMs will be quite boobalicious in this dress, then it might work.
