#149: no, really?

i'll be honest. at first, i thought it was a brilliant idea. then i gave it a little more thought and decided it was a terrible idea. and then i thought about it even more...and flipflopped halfway. so now, i'm rather neutral. i think if i had the time to brainstorm, and could actually come up with real and creative uses for this shtick, it could turn out to be a fine idea...and a great alternative for candles.

brief search indicates about $0.20-$0.30 per stick.

what do you think?

Try getting white glowsticks, cracking them and then putting them inside white balloons. My friend did this at her last party and hung them from the ceiling like lanterns.

I have seen the same thing done with the paper lanterns. That way you can buy the white (Cheaper) lanters and get the colors you want with the glowsticks.

Plus you don't need to worry about electricity in venues.

Great ideas. I was going to say that this seems like it has the potential to be really cool or a big flop. But I love Jessica and Katie B's ideas. Very affordable and I'll bet they're very pretty.

didn't one of the weddingbees do this? i think miss emerald? that looked like it'd work like that with her paper lanterns.
