careful to not overdo the diy girlie. i love how all my stuff turned out but i think i coulda stressed less and enjoyed the planning experience more :)
We used sachets of lavendar for people to open and toss over us as we left the wedding. It was cheaper than rose petals, smelled great, and didn't stain your dress like bubbles do. Plus it was colorful!
Cute Cute!! yes, be careful with all the DIY-- don't let yourself get stressed out over it all!
I just purchased a lavender bunch from Save-on-Crafts for $8.50+ shipping. I plan on tying it together with babysbreath and satin-ribbon for my bridesmaids. That way its a nicely scented keepsake that will look gorgeous as well as something i can complete a few days ahead of time. http://www.save-on-crafts.com/lavender2.html
it's cool to have a diy list.... just be prepared to scrap a few things when you realize the wedding is in three days you need sleep (or cocktails!)
