i'm not sure i'd be willing to just exnay everything i've been working on for the past 2 years. but then again, and given the major economic turbulence around us lately, saving $10,000 sounds mighty tempting.

stuff like that is always tempting but then i wonder if the bf and i would be getting the wedding of our dreams or the wedding the show people want us to dream of having.

considering the boy wants a quiet beach ceremony before having a bigger shebang with family and friends, i'm pretty sure this wouldn't work for us.

Don't forget - networks are motivated by advertising & ratings which spells D-R-A-M-A!

Sounds like a great opportunity for someone who just got engaged and hasn't begun the planning yet. I on the other hand was too much of a control freak to hand over the reigns to anyone else!

I also stopped by to let you know that YOU have been blogged! Thank you for the always entertaining and inspirational blog! :)

I don't think I could do it. I wouldn't want a wedding that wasn't ME.

So after some thought (okay it only took a few minutes to decide) I am not scrapping all our plans for a very cool (and free) wedding. Yes, it would be awesome, I'm sure...but this is more than us. It's about getting married in the church we attended since we started dating, it's about our families coming together, it's about all that crazy and fun stuff that I want to experience with my fiance and our new combined families and friends...but yes it's definitely tempting to also take the wedding money and just take everyone on a cruise instead, lol.
