from wedding things.
$1.75 for 5 of these. if you KNOW you're going to have responsible guests, how fantastic would these be? i've personally been coveting them ever since seeing them featured on various wedding sites. now i know where i could get 'em...on the cheap!

I'm not sure if you were thinking of using regular sparklers. But, regular cheap ones put off a LOT of smoke and don't last very long. The sparklers made for weddings produce less smoke and have a longer burning time.
i really like the idea of having sparklers, too! one cool idea i've seen is to stick the sparkler through the center of a large gerbera daisy ... creating a pretty type of 'holder' ... depends on your flowers but can look really cute.
I just LOVE this idea, it would look so pretty to have your guests holding the sparklers as you depart...a very sparkly moment indeed.

My mom bought a buttload of sparklers at Sam's one year for new years, and it took us over a year to get rid of 350 sparklers. I think she spent around $20, too.
