this is one of those 'thinking out loud' posts. so.
do you do better with lists? i do. and i haven't had one in a while. i guess i've been carrying around a muddled one in my head. but i haven't sat down and really gotten dirty with it. i think i might have been skirting the fact that i need to get stuff done. with the invitations out of the way, i've been kind of like in 'i deserve to rest' mode. still kind of am. plus. there have been other dramsies. anyhoo.
so the rsvps have been trickling in. and before the inbox gets all crazy, i need to have a system. do you do better with a system in place? i do. so, this weekend, i plan to start cutting up our placecards. the idea is to write down each of the yes answers as they come in. srsly.
i also need to go to michaels to pick up $5 flowers.
APRIL:
complete centerpieces
practice hair/makeup
decoration for ceremony
hairpiece for the flowergirls
wedding rings
seating chart
order rehearsal lunch
write vows / ode to parents
cake - make a friggin decision
doesn't seem too bad. i think.

I'm totally a 'lister' too!! I can't function without them, good luck!
Um, I feel like you're ahead of me, and I started planning waaaaaay earlier than you, officially. Makes me wonder what have I been doing all this time? :)
Sounds like you have everything under control!
That's not a bad list! Good luck with the rest of the month.
Lists are awesome- hence my lists of TTD each month.
I made a 'guest tracker' in m. excel which contains all the guests names, e-mails, addresses, meal selection & RSVP column. I hate having multiple places to store information- that way everything is in one file.
P.S. I think RSVPing via the internet is fantastic & I applaud you for moving forward with this trend. If I get one more sideways glance after explaining I'm not doing RSVP cards in the mail...
We used the e-wedding platinum service for RSVPs...worked really well for any brides out there still determining. When people asked, I simply said that we were trying to conserve paper. We just put the website on the invitiation, which was nice because it directed our guests to the website where lots of other info was located (directions, our honeymoon registry, etc).
What's the ode to parents?
I live by lists. There's nothing better for making an overwhelming amount of tasks seem manageable. They also allow you the satisfaction of crossing things off of them. That's my favorite part.
list! make a list! thats good!
