#448: glamour closet sale.

*thanks for your comments. my mom is "ok".

the perps certainly knew what they were looking for...and everything they took belonged to mom. because anything of value in that house is hers (remember, dad likes camping and fishing? he's not into expensive gadgets or video games...nor does he collect anything. hm. fiance's kind of like that. interesting! anyways.) they took her jewelry, watches, bags, loads of unused makeup (WTF!!! but that stuff is expensive so it makes sense.), gift cards she had stockpiled to give as christmas presents, cash.

and now that the shock has worn off and i know it's a blessing she wasn't around when they hit up the house...i'm soo pissed. i feel all sorts of violated, bitter and angry even though i'm not there to see the broken glass and it wasn't my stuff.

so i can only imagine how my mom is 'really' feeling. sigh. good thing she's a strong woman.

the only thing i can hope at this point...is that the bad deed was done with good intent. to feed a family or to help peeps in need, not for drugs or as a stupid gang assignment. seriously.*

That's awful! So sorry to hear about it. It just happened to one of my girlfriends... same situation. She went out in the middle of the day, came back 2 hours later and the place had been ransacked. The worst part, she was going to the gym, so they took her engagment ring and wedding bands!

Gah. People make me so angry sometimes-- a lot of the time. I'll keep praying for your mom, I can only imagine that that is very, very rough.

I know exactly how you feel. My first apartment was robbed on valentine's day! They stole only my stuff and not my roommate's whihc was strange. They did it during the day even. They must've have known when we had class because we came and went at all random times. But I felt so violated knowing that strangers had been in my home and my bedroom looking through my things and were probably looking through all my stuff on my laptop they had taken. I'm so sorry for you and your family!
