eh, I wouldn't. You probably get really limited choices. But it could be a great deal for someone who doesn't want to or have the time to make those choices.

No way. I am far too particular about what I want to trust all of it to one place. I need to be able to pick out exactly what I want and I know that a package like this would not allow me to completely customize my wedding.

nope, i wouldn't either. i'm also much to particular in what i'd want and especially since i don't want a cookie cutter wedding, this would not be for me. plus, only 4 hours of photography coverage? yeeeeaaaah....see. it just wouldn't work for me. lol

Well, since our wedding venue is totally open to letting us do or choose anything we want, I can see where this could be really nice. I'm sure there aren't the same amount of choices that you could find on your own, and I'm sure that some of their things are overpriced for what they are, but let me just tell you.... trying to figure out what I want for my centerpieces is driving me abso-freakin-lutely MAD!! There are TOO MANY choices, and I like many of them, so how to choose????

But, if I had it all to do again, I wouldn't want to sink all of my budget just on this one place and one package - I would like SOME choices!

i love love planning, so i would want to plan my own. for me, planning is the best part! :)

but for a really busy person, this might be a godsend.

NEVER. Absolutely never. It has no personality, represents the bride & groom in no way. It's just bland vanilla to me and quite honestly, a little cheap and tacky looking.

I attended a number of beautiful, lovely weddings in '07. Really nice and of course, of people I loved. But I remarked to my boyfriend (my date at each one) that you could have plucked the bride & groom from any reception and dumped them down at the reception of the other and it wouldn't have mattered. There was no personalization that represented the couples and their spirit and their *story* wasn't there at all. I don't want that...

You know, I was just talking to my sister (who's planning her wedding) about how great it would be to have something like this. You hit it on the nail! I think it's a great idea!

There is something really wrong with this concept! Either it is the cheesiest wedding package ever, or there are hidden charges thet...OOPS, get put in later. If you are too busy to plan your wedding, hire a planner, but this is too good to be true- for sure!

My vote is a resounding NO as well. Its either a bait and switch deal or you're going to get the chintziest wedding ever. Seriously, they are even cheaping out on the soda (costs them like, 5 cents a serving) by limiting it to 2 hours. I wouldn't matter that you get a generic wedding (brides tend to obsess over meaningless details anyway) ... It WOULD matter that you got a totally cheap and tacky one so the place can still turn a profit on a $10K wedding. Entenmann's wedding cake anyone?

No way I'd do this. It's not out of principle (because in theory one-stop shopping would be great, and who really notices every single detail?), but I bet that practically speaking it's NOT a good value. How good is the food going to taste and the service going to be when the place is providing everything? You couldn't threaten to walk if you're unhappy with something early on (like the limo, for example) since you're dependent upon this place for everything.
