i was just at the BCBG outlet the other day and as much as i always think to go there for MY dresses i realized it would be perfect for bridesmaid dresses! the dresses at the outlet (at least the one near me) are always on sale and you'd be hard pressed to find a dress for over $200... i even saw great ones for $39! if/when i get my ring, i'm totally taking my girls there! plus you can always wear their dresses again.
BCBG is great : )

Its so great to see brides becoming smarter and smarter. This post is direct evidence. Knowing that such fashionable discount wedding gowns are available should help to take the pressure off of trying to find a gorgeous dress with breaking your wedding budget.

warning.....I bought this dress from the bcbg store, got home and decided it didn't "feel" like a wedding dress. well they have a super great return policy that only lets you get store credit no matter how you paid and you have to do it in 10 days.....sneaky sneaky. Now I am stuck with a store credit...I guess Ill get a 300 dollar rehersal dress :(

They have a shorter version of the same dress for $300 at Nordstrom.

I'm telling you, Nordstrom is the place to go for inexpensive wedding dresses.

I love this dress, I saw it in a shop and was struck with regret at spending a gazillion pounds on my dress when I could have had this one for a fraction of the price!

I tried on this dress, as I too fell in love. Because of the way its constructed it fray's and if any of the ribbons shift your body is exposed. The ribbon banding is not sewn well and unfortunately it unravels with any rubs or nicks. Also the overlay of the layers does not give enough room that if you wear this body fitting you're more than likely to expose your skin (mesh underlay). Sorry to burst the bubble!

I'm in the same boat as Nicole. It is a goregeous dress, but it does not feel like a wedding dress. Also, it was unfortunate that there are several similar dresses in the collection in shorter, color versions, so a guest might show up looking like a brides maid.
