- i love discovery, details, and organizing the nooks and crannies. when i began this blog, i wasn't even engaged. i was just obsessed with the thought of planning a meaningful, wonderful, special day...with a strict budget in tow. and now i'm married. i didn't meet my goal of a $10,000 wedding, but have no regrets. i hope you will be able to take some good ideas from this collection as compiled from blogs i visit daily. my journey isn't your journey. but maybe it can help. xo.

this dress gave me that "i shouldnt have bought my dress so soon" feeling. its *gorgeous*!
if i were doing it all again, I'd go "homemade." The chapter in Rebecca Mead's book about the wedding dress sweatshops in China killed me. Why not put $$ into a local designer / tailor AND have a really good story to pass down (or better than... "I went to a sale at David's Bridal..."
