#260: all of it at once.

from the brides cafe.

the vase, the pitcher, the tin cans, the block letter, the candle...they all come together perfectly, no? on paper, it seems like too much is going on...but surprisingly, all of the parts are beautifully incorporated.

lightbulb moment: in place of the letter 'k' in the picture, how about a shabby-chic'd out or spray-painted wooden carving of some kind? nothing too obtrusive, of course. something juuuust right.

a starting point for inspiration could be the unfinished wood products offered at michael's and joann.

hm...will have to do some more research.

I am defiantly feeling this! I have been poking around Michael’s trying to figure out what is going to go into my glass bowls for my beach wedding. So far we have a small bowl with sand and shells (I also have turquoise sea glass and some river rock to play with) and I have lots of clear votive holders and turquoise glass tea light holders to go around the bowl. But what goes inside the bowl? (It used to be coral, that got taken from me) ….but now what? I am open to any ideas! (Fun & Classic Beach theme wedding, colors are turquoise and white). Its gotta be something different and fun. Hummmmm. Maybe more craft store searching is ahead of me this weekend.

I just want to say that I love your blog! I, too, am asking the same question...Can I do it for $10,000 or under? Truth is, I don't have much of a choice. Thanks for all the inspiration!
